Sidewalks are among the best things to check out in a neighborhood. A place that has plenty of sidewalks is often one that is not too far from other sites like shopping areas and schools. Of course, sidewalks also encourage people to be active by walking.

More importantly, sidewalks are designed to link properties in a neighborhood together. This in turn can make for an enjoyable environment for all to relax and have fun in.

Check Out Different Schools
Look to see if there are any schools in your neighborhood. Sometimes the schools in space can cause property values to go up. This is a critical point to use regardless of whether or not you have kids. You need to find a neighborhood with plenty of good schools if you have kids. Meanwhile, you need to be aware of what schools could influence your property values if you don’t have any kids.

You should see if there are any crime-related problems in the neighborhood you want to invest in. Look to see if your neighborhood has any issues relating to crime and if there are any surrounding spaces that may be dangerous. This could create a serious lack of stability in the particular neighborhood you are looking into.

What Plans Are Ahead?
Check and see if there are any special developmental plans coming around within the community you are interested in. These include plans to add new properties or to expand.
