Mrs. Arroyo was my mother’s occupational therapist. Her expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail placed her in a special category above her co-workers. Mrs. Arroyo always went beyond the limits that were required of her. As an example, Mrs. Arroyo would spend more than the necessary time with my mother, listen to her concerns and respond accordingly. Mrs. Arroyo’s pleasing personality was always present. She had the ability to establish rapport and gain the respect and confidence of her clients. My mother looked forward to seeing Mrs. Arroyo’s smiling face, caring attitude, and therapeutic hands.
Upon mother’s release from a skilled nursing facility, Mrs. Arroyo visited my home and gave my mother a thorough evaluation as to the kinds of aids she needed in order to assist with her mobility. The evaluation resulted in the recommendation and installation of hand bars for the bathtub and commode. Mr. Arroyo installed the bars in a professional and timely manner. Needless to say, I was well pleased with Mr. and Mrs. Arroyo’s performance.
